Recently Faisal Shaikh and different individuals of Team 07 made a big controversy with their TikTok videos after the lynching of Tabrez Khan in 2019. In the video Team, 07 stated, "harmless Tabrez was killed, however, if Tabrez's son grows up and takes revenge then Muslims shouldn't be termed as terrorists." Their intention was not wrong but the way and words they used were totally wrong.

One of the activists of Shiv Sena filed a grievance in opposition to Team 07, an FIR was registered by Mumbai police, and as an end result, Mr.Faisu's Tik-Tok account was suspended for more than a year. Later, Team 07 uploaded a status on their social media profiles apologising for hurting the emotions of the public. Now the ban on Faisal Shaikh's Tik-Tok account has been lifted.
